Instrument list(If there is no equipment you want to reserve, please contact the person in charge of each equipment. )

Reservation registration/modification/deletion method

The ID and password to make a reservation will be a registration system. If you would like to register, please contact Funamoto (086-256-8473 extension 3242 sogokiki@ric.ous.ac.jp). Also, the password can be easily changed by the registrant.(change)

《 how to use 》
1. Please click the day you want to reserve on the calendar. The schedule registration screen for the day will be displayed.

2. Type: Reservation
  User name/extension: Please put a dot (·) between the name and the extension number. (Example: Funamoto 4572) (double-byte)   
  Time: Please enter the minimum usage time of the device. (Example: 30 minute intervals, 15 minute intervals)  
     If it spans two days (exceeds 24 hours), please divide it into two days and enter.
      Example Day 1: 22:00-24:00 
        2nd day 00:00-06:00 

  Usage time, sample name, etc.: Please put a middle point (·) between usage time and sample name. again,
              Usage time = end time - start time
              Example: 1:20, ceramics (double-byte)
  Password: Required to correct/change scheduled time and delete schedule. Please do not forget. if you forget

3. Click [Write] to register.

4. To modify or delete the schedule, first click the date you want to modify or delete. In the password field of the schedule you entered, enter the password you set when you registered, and select either the Modify or Delete button. Then click Execute.

Notes

1. Users and hours of use
 1.1 Users
  (1) University faculty, staff, students, and graduate students
  (2) Persons from other institutions who are conducting joint research with faculty members of the university and who are approved by the center director

 1.2 Regarding usage hours (Regarding overtime use notification)
○Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays, summer and winter holidays for faculty and staff)
9:00-17:00 in principle. When using after 17:00, please follow the instructions of your academic advisor. If you wish to use the facilities after 17:00, please submit the "Notice of Overtime Use of Laboratories/Laboratories" provided in each faculty office to Research Instruments Center by 16:00 in advance.

○Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays, and summer and winter vacations for faculty and staff members must be accompanied by a seminar instructor or will be contacted immediately. Submit to Research Instruments Center by 16:00 on the working day of faculty and staff in advance. In addition, multiple people should be allowed to operate the equipment so that they can contact each other in an emergency.

1. Troubleshooting
If you find something wrong with the equipment during the measurement, immediately contact the center technical staff or seminar instructor and ask for instructions.

The user must fill in the necessary items such as usage conditions in the usage notebook attached to the device used.

3. Work in the X-ray controlled area
In particular, when working in an X-ray controlled area, undergo a radiation and X-ray safety seminar and a health checkup conducted by the university in advance, and wear a film badge and ring when working. Fill in the necessary items in the X-ray work record and controlled area entry record that are provided separately from the use notebook. be strictly adhered to 「Okayama University of Science Radiation Hazard Prevention Regulations」.

4. Handling liquid nitrogen and liquid helium
Before handling liquid nitrogen or liquid helium, attend a training session held by Research Instruments Center. Also, when handling. be strictly adhered to「Okayama University of Science High Pressure Gas Hazard Prevention Regulations」.

5. Other Compliance with laws and regulations
When handling dangerous substances such as samples handled in the center, comply with the national Fire Service Law, and when handling poisonous and deleterious substances, comply with the national Poisonous and Deleterious Substances Control Law.
